Practitioner:
Includes all individuals who work in the child care and early education profession with children ages birth through 14 years. Practitioners include those who work directly with children and who work as administrators and those who support the child care and early education practitioners.
Practitioners include, but are not limited to:
Child Care Center Staff Elementary School Teachers
Family Child Care Home Providers School District Child Care and Early  Education Staff

Group Family Child Care Home Providers Administrators
School Age Program Staff Coordinators
Infant and Toddler Program Staff Specialists
Head Start Staff   Child Care and Early Education Trainers

 Registration Process:

1. Complete the Practitioner Application 

2. Include COPIES of training/education documentation

3. Submit all information to the SCCEEDS office
   

Each Practitioner/Trainer will receive:

1. A certificate that lists the Career Level achieved, the total number of clock hours and credit hours of training and education and the years of self reported experience in the child care and early education profession.

2. A Summary of Education and Training

3. A monetary incentive

Practitioners move at their own pace to complete additional training and education.

On a yearly basis, SCCEEDS staff will review all additional training and education completed during the year. Practitioners will receive an updated Career Level Certificate and Summary of Education and Training. When a higher Career Level has been reached, an additional monetary incentive will be included.

SCCEEDS is funded through the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Child Care Administration by the Federal Child Care Development fund.
