Program Overview:

SCCEEDS (Statewide Child Care and Early Education Development System) is a career development registry for child care and early education professionals. SCCEEDS is a tool designed to assist child care and early education practitioners track their education and training. 

SCCEEDS goals are:

Improve the status of Practitioners working in the child care and early education profession

Encourage professional and educational growth in the child care and early education profession

Improve the overall quality of care and education for Arizona’s children

SCCEEDS tracks professional growth and lists training/educational resources throughout the state.          

SCCEEDS is a three-part system consisting of Practitioners, Trainers, and Trainings.

Practitioner:
Includes all individuals who work in the child care and early education profession with children ages birth through 14 years. Practitioners include those who work directly with children, administrators and those who support the child care and early education profession.

 

Trainer:
An individual who provides training to practitioners in the child care and early education profession.

 

Training:
Educational information presented to child care and early education practitioners that is designed to improve the quality of care provided to children.
