Trainers:

SCCEEDS Trainers serve a vital role in preparing Practitioners to better meet the needs of the children they serve. SCCEEDS Trainers are the key to a professional development system that is striving to improve the quality of care for the children and families of Arizona.

SCCEEDS Trainers must complete the Trainer Application in addition to the Practitioner Application. They must also:

1.  Be at least 18 years of age

2.  Have a high school diploma or equivalent

3.  Achieved a Practitioner Career Level III-A or higher.
The requirement for a Career Level III-A is one of the
     following:

CDA credential, CCP, CPC, NAC or equivalent,
                                      OR,

Twelve (12) credit hours in early childhood
               education or child development,
                                      OR,

One hundred eighty (180) clock hours of training.

Guest Trainers:

A SCCEEDS Trainer may “sponsor” a Guest Trainer when one of the following criteria is met:

The Guest Trainer has experience that is beneficial
to the child care and early education profession, but
would not be able to register as a SCCEEDS Trainer

The Guest Trainer has not yet submitted their
information to SCCEEDS. These Guest Trainers may
conduct no more than two (2) trainings.

The sponsoring SCCEEDS Registered Trainer must submit a Guest Trainer Submittal Form.

Specialty Trainers:

Many professionals have a specific area of expertise that may not fall within the parameters of the SCCEEDS Program (i.e. nurse, physician, dietitian, certified public accountant, etc.), but conduct training that is beneficial to the child care and early education profession. Specialty Trainers designate their areas of expertise and may conduct trainings within the specified areas only.

To list as a Specialty Trainer, the applicant will submit a Specialty Trainer Application Form
