The family-friendly fun begins at 2:30 PM with a reception to delight both the young at age and at heart.

  • Reception activities (at no additional cost) include face painting, yo-yo demonstrations, bilingual readings of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," photo frame decorating and complimentary guest photo.
  • Yummy refreshments that include sandwiches, fruit and cupcakes will be served.
  • Silent auction themed baskets...perfect for any gift-giving occasion or a treat to yourself.

The Association for Supportive Child Care has been enhancing the quality of care for children in the state of Arizona for more than 30 years. ASCC services include training and accreditation programs for child care providers to teaching children how to be safe when they are home alone. the majority of ASCC programming is supported through grants and contracts, however three programs - Child Care Injury Prevention, Kith & Kin and Phone Friend - are in jeopardy due to limited financial resources. Proceeds from Play It Safe will support the goal of raising $200,000 annually to sustain these primarily community-focused efforts.
