Training:
S CCEEDS
Trainings address a wide range of
Core Knowledge Elements and Competencies
that are important to the
child care and early education profession.
Registering Training:
Registering Trainings is a two
part process.
Part A: Complete a Training Submittal
Form.
This form needs to be
submitted only one time for each training.
Part B: Each time the training is
scheduled, a Training Schedule Form must be submitted to S CCEEDS.
The schedule is used to identify each training occurrence and will be used
as the basis for assigning a Bar Code Label.
As a benefit to S CCEEDS
Trainers, all S CCEEDS
Trainings that are open to the public are published in the quarterly
newsletter and on the Training Network at no cost to the Trainer.
Bar Code Label:
Bar Code Labels are assigned and distributed to S CCEEDS
Trainers. These labels are distributed by the Trainer to each
participant upon successful completion of the training. The Bar Code
Label is to be placed in the appropriate column of the
Practitioner
Training Record. This is the only documentation needed to verify
attendance at the training.
Conferences:
Definition: A conference is a type of professional development
experience that generally lasts four (4) hours or more, in which people
with a common interest participate in discussions or listen to lectures to
obtain information.
Conferences are accepted as S CCEEDS
Registered Trainings.
The sponsoring agency may choose to submit a
Conference Submittal Form. Practitioners need to
submit a copy of the conference certificate of completion to receive clock
hours.
OR
Practitioners may utilize the
Conference Attendance
Verification Form to receive clock hours for any appropriate
conference workshop attended.
